Detention

 Sunday mail was a huuuge surprise for me cuz instead of inventations to grad parties/post cards and other stuff I usualy get, the mail from the school contained a warning notice and a detention notice. And please don't get me wrong, although many people think that a detention is a bad thing, I was quite happy to get one. Yes, I said I was happy to get a detention :) cuz it was my very first detention in my whooole life! So, you see, it was pretty exciting for me (except for the fact that my host-dad was making fun of me saying that a detention was not going to look good on my Harvard application :D).

 Please, don't think that I started a fight. I just happend to be late to school twice this semester. So on Monday right after school I spent thirty minutes reading one of my favorite books, "Sense And Sensibility" by Jane Austen, in the school principal's office.

 Let's see... I got to eat free candies from the school's office, talk to teachers, and read my favorite book - I think all these are pretty good reasons to say that detentions are not that bad:)
